Hi all, Thanks to all the musician's and guests who made this week-end special...
We are looking forward to this coming week, starting with our usual "Green Energy" Wednesdays, and "Drum Circle" Thursdays. However this coming Friday, we will be closed for Halloween.

Hi, Well, this week was interesting to say the least... On Wednesday night we were closed for our usual "Green Energy Night", here at Java Jones, because we all went to a great evening with Peter Donaldson. Then last night we had a chance to meet John Muenchrath, it turned into a lively conversation, and it may have gotten a bit animated, and we apologize to those who might have been offended. John seemed level-headed, and seemed interested in our community development projects. Thanks again, John, and we hope to keep in touch...

Special Note, about this Wedensday...

Hi again, OK, so, this Wedensday’s “Green Energy” evening at Java Jones Coffee House, has been trumped by a very special evening… Please check this out, Peter Donaldson, will be making a special apperence at the Coos Bay Library, Myrtlewood Room, from 5;30 til 8:00. check out his website, peterdonaldson.net, and there you will find some great links.

Next week, Wed. the 22nd, will be a film at 6:00, "The Organic Opportunity", with Ez of Rez playing music @ 4:30 on....

Howdy from Java Jones Coffee House

Well, in these hard times we're facing , it's nice to know there's a great place to gather. It's here at Java Jones Coffee House & Art Gallery. We want to thank all of the regulars, too many to mention, but you know who you are! We always love having local artists works and the artists themselves "hangin' around"!!
"Green Energy Wednesday" Evenings are always informative, and we will be learning and creating ways to create a sustainable "Green" local economy. If you get here a little early, say around 5:30 you're likely to here some good acoustic music as Hal & friends, heat it up!!
We are looking at creating a comfortable friday evening, with fine dining and music. Bill and Paul, and others will be filling the bill.

Well I'd better get out of here and head on down there my self, and see if I can play a few tunes... thanks again and see ya soon, hal
