This week Alexius Harris and her dad played together. We also had a new person drive from Port Orford and visitors from Santa Cruz going back after visiting Portland. Open Mic at Java Jones is fun for all ages plus you can play by yourself or there are others here to play with you like a controlled jam session. AND if you want a fun night of music to listen too it's one of the best music venues for an evening out for dinner and music in town. Thank you all for your support~!

On Wednesday night we were closed for our usual "Green Energy Night", here at Java Jones, because we all went to a great evening with Peter Donaldson. Then last night we had a chance to meet John Muenchrath, it turned into a lively conversation, and it may have gotten a bit animated, and we apologize to those who might have been offended. John seemed level-headed, and seemed interested in our community development projects. Thanks again, John, and we hope to keep in touch...

Well, in these hard times we're facing , it's nice to know there's a great place to gather. It's here at Java Jones Coffee House & Art Gallery. We want to thank all of the regulars, too many to mention, but you know who you are! We always love having local artists works and the artists themselves "hangin' around"!!
"Green Energy Wednesday" Evenings are always informative, and we will be learning and creating ways to create a sustainable "Green" local economy. If you get here a little early, say around 5:30 you're likely to here some good acoustic music as Hal & friends, heat it up!!
We are looking at creating a comfortable friday evening, with fine dining and music. Bill and Paul, and others will be filling the bill.

Green Energy Night

Hey guys! We have fun and interesting things scheduled for the next two weeks of Green Night.

On July 16th, 6-8 Pm we will be showing "Building a local community and Economy" a movie based on the city of Bellingham Washington's transformation to a self sustaining economy and community. (This is a good film for those who have a small business and want to network.)

On Wednesday July 23rd, 6-8 PM we will be holding a discussion that is based on four not-so easy things you can do to save the planet. Population control, greed, justice, and stewardship.
